Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends:

The practice of law has been, for me, an enjoyable and productive career since 1980. I could easily do this for 50 years and, indeed, some of my colleagues here in Louisville have been practicing that long. It's a wonderful way to make a good living and I will miss the regular contact with you, my clients. And I need to add, as time as gone on, I've really taken to enjoying you, my colleagues, including the many against whom I've litigated over the years.
However I have also wanted to do something else in life and as a sort of "second career" now that this many years have passed. It is something that I have done on a very very limited basis since Law School except for about 22 years or so back when Cindy and I had our three wonderful children. During those particular years I simply raised kids and litigated cases. But now those kids are no longer kids. They are grown and on their own. The "something else" is teaching philosophy as adjunct faculty at the University of Louisville. I want to do more of it. And I want to establish an office on campus to actively participate with faculty and students there on a daily basis.
I plan to keep up with the law however, and I will be easy to reach should any clients have questions or need a file or direction or whatever.
I am going to keep this website up, rudimentary as it is, for at least two more years because it contains my contact information.
If need be you can also contact me through the Philosophy Department at U of L: 502-852-6811. My personal office phone at U of L: 502-852-9040.
If you need further information please feel free to contact me at any time.
Thank you so much, Clients, Colleagues and Friends. I'm grateful to all of you for the trust you have placed in me----and your friendship over these many years!
